Amelie's Dolls

 designed by Amelie Labarthe
 description
Cinnamon, Ginger, Caramel, Clementine, Raspberrilou.. We are not quite sure who they are, secret agents serving the urban rainbow fairy, or simply a color addicted crew of girls who plan on invading innocent people’s homes in a near future with their natural glow.
We can throughout their adventures find out that they are each very fashion concerned, with strong ethical values : they refuse to wear anything else than vintage clothing and are the queens of internet shopping.
They believe that affective investment and attachment is the key to a more sustainable world. Loving to be the center of attention, they made room in Amelie’s bag for a number of shows and destinations, managing to proudly keep their carbon footprint to a zero level. And all of this in the name of fame...

Trap

 designer
 Elisabeth Buecher
descriptionElisabeth looked at the environmental issue of excessive water consumption. She designed a series of water-saving shower curtains which inflate after four minutes spent under the water, taking over the space and discouraging long water-wasting showers. The collection is called «My shower curtain is a green warrior». Trap inflates around you and leaves you 4 minutes to shower before trapping you. If you don’t want to get trapped you have to get out before it does and stop damaging the environment. These curtains are not really for marketing but aim at provoking a debate around water issues.
availability Art Installation. For exhibitions, museums, public and private collections

Spiky

 designer Elisabeth Buecher
descriptionElisabeth looked at the environmental issue of excessive water consumption. She designed a series of water-saving shower curtains which inflate after four minutes spent under the water, taking over the space and discouraging long water-wasting showers. The collection is called «My shower curtain is a green warrior». Spiky gives you 4 minutes under the water before its inflating spikes push you out of the shower. You can’t stand in the shower anymore because the spikes take all the available space. You have to get out and stop using too much water. These curtains are not really for marketing but aim at provoking a debate around water issues.

Glowing Lampshades

 designed by Kathy Schicker
 description
These amusing little printed lamps glow in the dark when exposed to sunlight or UV light. The light charges up the lampshade, so when it’s dark, it gives of light without the need of a bulb!  Fun and playful, they are also available in colour changing fabric.

availability Direct from the designer on commission.

Colour Changing Cushion

 designer
 Kathy Schicker
 description

These magic little hand woven cushions change colour when exposed to sunlight. They start white, and when sunlight hits them, colour and pattern magically appear. This revelations gently fades away once the light source has gone, but will comeback each time. Have to be seen to be believed!

availability Available direct from the designer on commission.

Solar Sanctuary

 designer
 Jo Angell
 description

Solar Sanctuary is a shade structure that mimics the lovely scene of a sun-dappled tree canopy. Under Jo's Solar Sanctuary, you are protected from harmful UV rays by enchanting modules made from lasercut materials and softly coloured projection screens. When light streams through the apertures, curious visual patterns draw us out of the sun and into the shade.  This effect can also be adapted for interior use to change the atmosphere and colourscheme of a space.

 availability By commission.

Balloon Furniture

 designers
 Puff&Flock, Vincenzo DiMaria,
description How many balloons does it take to support your bum? Take a seat and find out! We fill our bean-shaped pillowcases with as many party balloons as we can stuff in. That's quite a lot, considering that the cases are made from extra stretchy latex. The balloons shift around to create a comfy nest for you. People tend to be afraid initially, but then relax when they try these out. Some even can't resist a nap...
availability Cases available individually or in packs of 10. 100 balloons included with each case ordered. Some (fun) assembly required.
