Toray Textiles Europe Limited

Toray is a global company leading the world in fiber innovation. Their textile research and development leads to advances in fields as diverse as medical products and electronics materials. Toray Textiles Europe specializes in weaving and dyeing of polyester filament textiles. Elisabeth Buecher of Puff&Flock encountered their high-performance fabrics while researching materials for inflatable structures. Toray offered sponsorship, and Puff&Flock made several designs with their parachute fabric. Normally used for high function and performance in extreme environments, the lightweight and windproof Toray fabrics were shown for their impressive aesthetic and tactile qualities in the Puff&Flock projects.
